Brenda Dee Tisdale

Brenda Dee Tisdale 62, of Littlefield, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, in Lubbock. She was born August 1, 1960 in Clovis, New Mexico to Arthur Long, Jr. and Marlene Smith Long.

Brenda married Ricky Earl Tisdale November 5, 2016, in Littlefield. She worked at the American Cotton Growers Plant and then as a dental assistant for Dr. Harlan, DDS. She later worked at Shopko in Littlefield until it closed its doors.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling to Ruidoso, New Mexico and attending the horse races. She loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. She was known for making homemade Christmas candy. Spending time with her family was important to her and she was a loving "Maw Maw B" to her grandchildren. She liked to watch her grandsons play sports. She loved her dogs dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Earl Tisdale; her mother, Marlene Long of Wolforth, TX; a son, Josh Kirkland of Littlefield, TX; two daughters, Crystal Kirkland of Littlefield, TX and Carrie Kates and husband, Alan of Sanger, TX; stepdaughter, Shanna Flores and husband, Jeff of Littlefield; four grandsons, Jakob Kirkland, Jaxon Oldenkamp, Jayden Kirkland, and Trent Tisdale all of Littlefield, TX; four granddaughters, Carley Kates and Addy Kates of Sanger, TX, Joslyn Kirkland of Lubbock, TX and Kyla Stallings; one brother, Keith Long and wife, Malisa of Wolforth, TX; and one sister, Linda Joiner and husband, Mike of Asher, OK.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Long, Jr.; and a sister, Beverly Barham.

Memorial Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2023 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, TX with Loa Fair officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
