Betty Wilkinson

Jan. 9, 1932 ~ Jan. 14, 2025

Betty was the perfect example of a homemaker… wonderful cook, "best apricot cobbler", seamstress, gardener, but most of all a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Betty left for her Heavenly journey on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her. Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life on Friday morning, January 17, 2025, at Grace Chapel in Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating.

Betty was born on January 9, 1932, in Lucy, Tennessee to Walter and Thelma Timian. Betty and her family moved to Littlefield when she was a very young child. She spent her entire life in Littlefield. Graduated from Littlefield High School in 1949, then attended Draughn's Business College in Lubbock. After graduation, Betty worked at the Lamb County Clerks office for three years. It was at this time Betty met Curtis (who was the Lamb County Attorney). They married on March 15, 1953, in Littlefield, and spent ten days on a trip to New Orleans. Returning to Littlefield and residing at 806 8th Street. Curtis and Betty traveled all over the world, including all fifty states, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Betty was a lifelong member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Littlefield.

Betty is survived by daughters, Druanne Honeycutt and Husband, Brian, Lori Pratt and husband, Kelly, Sally Gibson and husband, Chad; grandchildren and spouses, Chad and Aimee, Heather and Ryan, Natalie, Micah and Krystan, Katie and Jason, Coby and Laura, Chris and Alyssa and Luke; and great grandchildren, Cooper, Emma, Hays, Hadlee, Harlow, Esy, Huxleigh, Ellie, Emerson, Harper, Tessa, Dax, Allie, Cade, Blake, Preston, Cason, Ayzlee and Easton.

Betty's grandsons and great grandson will serve as pallbearers. The entire family would like to thank the four angels who cared for mom in her home for the last two years. Eva Reyes, Lucy Honesto, Marcy Gonzales, and Patricia Garcia.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Calvert Hospice, Miranda and Jayme.

We have to mention that mom had a special companion, her "Minnie" (cat). Minnie stayed at mom's side until the Lord came to gather her up in His mighty arms.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Littlefield EMS.

Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
