Benito “Benny” Sifuentes, 89, of Olton, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, in Olton, TX. Mass was celebrated Saturday morning, Feb. 1, 2025, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton with Fr. Alex Ambrose officiating. Interment followed at Spur Memorial Cemetery in Spur, TX, under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Benito was born March 21, 1935, in Buda, TX, to Lorenzo and Libredita (Serrano) Sifuentes. On Aug. 31, 1957, Benny married Lillie Cantu.. He moved to Olton in 1969 and was a member of St Peter’s Catholic Church. He was a hard working farmer and worked with many families including the Allcorn’s, Nafzger’s, Kennedy’s, McGill’s, and Ramage’s. Benny enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee and visiting with farmers at the local gin and co-op.
Benny was preceded in death by his parents; a son; a brother; and a sister.
Survivors include his wife; two sons; a daughter; a brother; a sister; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
