BARBARA DAUGHERTY

Barbara Daugherty, 86, of Olton, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Barbara was born Feb. 26, 1937, in Plainview, Texas, to Frank and Ruth (Brigance) Cornelius. She graduated from Olton High School and was a lifetime Olton resident. On June 26, 1955, Barbara married, J Frank Daugherty. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olton. She was an amazing cook. Barbara liked to do needle point and she enjoyed chocolate.
