Antonio Gaona, 81, of Olton, died Monday, April 11, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Living Faith Christian Church, in Olton, with Pastor Valentine Martinez officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Antonio was born February 2, 1941, in McDade, TX, to Serapio and Jesusa (Rivera) Gaona. He moved to Olton in 1991 from Dimmitt and was a member of Living Faith Christian Church. Antonio enjoyed reading old time comic books and tending to his vegetable gardens. He was also a talented quilt maker and loved building bird houses.
