In Loving Memory Of Barbara Genevieve (Loudder) Westmoreland

Barbara Genevieve (Loudder) Westmoreland was born on February 23, 1938 in Dimmitt, Texas. She married Lowell Westmoreland in Clovis, New Mexico on May 26, 1956. The couple made their home in Littlefield where they farmed and raised their family.
Genevieve was called home to heaven by her Lord and Savior on July 8, 2023. She is survived by Lowell, her loving husband of 67 years; daughters, Lori (Jimmy) Durham, and Gena (Ricky) Yantis; son; Zane (Pat) Westmoreland; and six grandchildren, LaToshia (Kelby) Ledbetter, Dusty (Heather) Durham, Kelsey (Ben) Pereira, Clayton (Kristina) Yantis, Stephen (Shelby) Westmoreland, Rachel (Trae) Sweatt. Also left to cherish her memory are nine great-grandchildren, London, Kamryn, and Sutton Ledbetter, Gunner Durham, Stetson, Shane and Scott Westmoreland, and Emmett and Easton Sweatt. She is also survived by her sister, Yvonne Messer of Bridgeport, Texas, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Waiting for her in heaven were her parents Alton and Betty Loudder and brothers Dwayne Loudder and Doug Loudder.
She was very appreciative of the expert skills, kindness and compassion of our friends who serve in the Littlefield EMS and she was supportive of their ministry in our community.
Celebration of life service were held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Littlefield, Texas with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Littlefield Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
