JB Allcorn was recently hired at First Federal Bank as a mortgage lending officer. Allcorn has over a decade of experience in the mortgage field in the Dallas metropolitan area.
Allcorn graduated from Littlefield High School in 2006 and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011. Allcorn’s previously worked in the non-bank lending field. He hopes to use his experience to enter the secondary market to create creative financing options for the community.
Allcorn will be servicing and tending to current clients that have mortgages at First Federal Bank. The goal is to enter the secondary market to give the community product diversity by the end of the year. This would allow more flexibility with customers and the lending options.
The First Federal Bank lending department currently offers oneto- four family home purchase loans, refinancing home loans, home improvement loans, home equity loans, bridge loans, construction loans and mortgage servicing.
Allcorn expressed gratitude towards having the opportunity to continue his mortgage career at First Federal Bank.
“ The people here are great whether it be Littlefield or Lubbock,” Allcorn said. “It’s just the west Texas area, there’s just good hearted folks here and you can’t really say that about a lot of the more urban metropolitan areas. So, that was very nice to get back to that type of individual.”
