Charlotte Howell Brownd, 82, lifelong resident of Sudan, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2022 in Littlefield. She was born December 13, 1939 in Sweetwater, Texas to Wayne and Lela Howell of Sudan.
Charlotte married the love of her life, Gayle H. Brownd, on August 21, 1959. More than anything she loved her family and being a 'Gran' to her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and loved her many dear friends.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gayle Brownd of Sudan; a son, Gary Brownd and wife, Christy of Canyon, Texas; a daughter, Janie Brownd of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Blakelee John and husband, Josh of Berthoud, CO, Hayden Pettit of Lubbock, Haylee Pettit and fiancée, Cole Beeson of Lubbock, and Katelyn Brownd of Canyon, TX; a sister, Wanette Fisher of Sudan; and other extended family members and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2022 at Sudan Cemetery with Pastor Tracy Spencer officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to The Arthritis Foundation (PO Box 96280, Washington, DC 20077).
