    There are two dogs up for adoption at The Littlefield Animal Shelter.

    Big Boy is a two-year-old Pit mix. He is a gentle giant, he is very sweet and is seeking a running buddy.

    The shelter has a two- to threeyear- old Sheppard mix named Athena. She has a zest for life and loves long walks and loves to be where the people are.

    Big Boy and Athena are up for adoption, along with several others, at the Littlefield Animal Shelter. Adoption days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or by appointment. The adoption fee is $25. Call 806-385-9202 for more information.
