In Loving Memory Of Dena Kay Reast

August 12, 1953 ~ May 5, 2022

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, for Dena Kay Reast, 68, of Littlefield at the Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Littlefield, Texas. Dena passed away May 5, 2022 in Denison, Texas after having a stroke as a result of lung cancer. Burial will follow at the Davidson-Cutler Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas at a later date.

Dena was born on August 12, 1953, in Hobbs, New Mexico to Kenneth and Charlene Whipple Reast. She grew up in Littlefield and graduated in May 1971. Dena worked in various capacities before deciding to pursue a career in nursing. She attended Grayson County College in Denison and graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Dena's 30-year nursing career began at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman followed by Texoma Medical Center in Denison. She spent the last 20 years at Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield. Dena excelled in many areas of nursing for all age groups.

Survivors include her daughter, Lacey Voight and children, Wesley, Logan, and Abigail of Littlefield; son, Nathan Voight, wife, Ashley, and children, Elijah and Olivia of Sherman; son, Simon Voight, wife Robyn, and children, Micah, Paisley, and Piper of Van Alstyne; sisters, Cherlyn Walters of Lavon, Texas and Ruan Reast of Lubbock; maternal aunt, Myrna Daniel of Prescott, Arkansas; nephew, Russell Richardson of Frisco; nieces, Randi Stevens of Rockport, Melanie Tschirhart of McKinney, Adrienne Smith of Mabank, and Traci Rose of Garland, Texas.
