Joe Angel Soliz, 50, of Olton, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, in Lubbock. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with Fr. George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. J o e Angel was born March 22, 1971, in Olton, TX, to A.J. and Lydia (Vasquez) Soliz. A lifetime Olton resident, Joe Angel graduated from Olton High School in 1989 and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Spending time with his friends and family was very important to Joe Angel.
