Debra Sue McKinney, 69, of Littlefield passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born on April 10, 1952 in Littlefield to Dudley Ray Offield and Melba Whalen Offield.
Debra married Ray McKinney on May 5, 1984. Together the couple raised their daughter, Leslie, whom they adored, and later were given three grandchildren and one great grandchild to add to their family. Debra truly loved being a wife, mother and "Memaw". She was a devoted homemaker and an excellent cook. Debra had a great sense of humor, and a servants heart. She helped with Littlefield Senior Citizens for many years. She liked music and dancing, especially George Strait and enjoyed traveling with her family. She was a member of Woodmen of the World.
Debra is survived by her husband, Ray McKinney of Littlefield; daughter, Leslie McKinney of Littlefield; three grandchildren, Loryn Lyon of Littlefield, Lynsey Lyon of Levelland and Stephen Smith of Amarillo; and one great grandson, who gave her so much joy the last few years, Kaseton Lyon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Teddy Offield and Monte Offield.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Westmoreland, Zane Westmoreland, David White, Robbie Blakely, James Blakely, and Mike Lewis. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
