Ann Hill

Church service for Ann Hill, age 86, of Sudan, TX, is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Sudan with Darren Provence of Sudan and Mike Woods of Sudan officiating. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery.

Ann died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021 in Amherst, TX. She was born June 30, 1935 in Ponder, TX to Ira and Bertha (Pegram) Legg. She married Theron Hill in Sudan on Feb. 8, 1959. Ann was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Sudan. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theron; her parents; a brother, Ernest “Pal” Legg; and four sisters, Marie Allen, Jo Quesenberry, Dorothy Breedlove and Geneva Whitten.

Ann is survived by her son, Rick Hill and his wife, LaRhonda of Sudan, TX; her daughter, Tracey Provence and her husband, Darren of Sudan, TX; her sister, Mutt Hanna of Amherst, TX; her four grandchildren, Dustin Provence and his wife, Tara, D.J. Provence and his wife, Lisa, Dagan Provence and Kort Hill; her eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
