Jimmy Jackson Davis, 78, of Littlefield passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021 in Lubbock. He was born Nov. 17, 1943 in Knox City, TX to Clarence and Rhonda (White) Davis.
Jimmy married Phyllis McClanahan on Aug. 14, 1965 in Littlefield. He was a dedicated caretaker to his wife for many years. He was a jokester and liked drinking coffee with his buddies. Jimmy was an Elvis fan, and a talented artist, who liked to sketch and draw. He loved Wildcat football, and the Dallas Cowboys, where he tried out as a kicker.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Davis of Littlefield; two sons, Jimmy Davis, Jr. and David Davis both of Littlefield; a daughter, Tracie Frausto of Littlefield; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
The family hosted a visitation Saturday evening, Dec. 18, 2021 at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
