In Loving Memory Of Burl Bruce Branscum

Memorial service for Burl Bruce Branscum age 80, of Muleshoe, TX, was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Earth, TX with Glenn Branscum officiating. Graveside services followed. Burl died Nov. 30, 2021 in El Paso, TX. He was born on April 5, 1941 in Littlefield, TX to Thurlo and Lucille (Mick) Branscum.

Burl graduated high school from Springlake Earth in 1959 and also attended South Plains College and Texas Tech. He was a long time resident of the Earth and Muleshoe area. Burl worked as a sales person for Hale Trailer Company. He farmed and cowboyed most of his life with time spent in Montana and Arkansas. He and his brother, Lexie, did custom farm work for several years.

Burl is survived by his younger sister, Zona Jane Meyer and her husband, Richard; and his sister-in-law, Joan Branscum. Also surviving him are eight nephews and nieces; sixteen great nieces and nephew; and eighteen great, great nephews and nieces.
