‘Christmas For Kids’ apps are due Friday

The 21st Annual Christmas for Kids kicked off November 12, 2021.

Sheriff Gary Maddox and the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office continue to celebrate Christmas with the toy drive that helps families in Lamb County communities.

Applications are still available for pickup and return at the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office located at 1200 E. Waylon Jennings Blvd. or any local bank in the cities of Amherst, Sudan, Olton, Earth or Littlefield.

The deadline for turning in the applications will be Friday, December 17, 2021 by 5 p.m.

Donation boxes have been placed at the following locations:

In Littlefield – Lamb County Courthouse Lobby, McDonald’s, Lowe’s Food King, First United Bank, First Bank & Trust, First Federal Bank, John Roley’s AutoCenter, Prosperity Bank, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Wellington State Bank, Ace Hardware, Gebo’s, and United Supermarket.

In Amherst – First State Bank.

In Sudan – First State Bank, Dollar General, and First United Bank.

In Earth – First United Bankd and Dollar General

In Olton – Happy State Bank, Wellington State Bank, Ag Produceers ”Coop, and Dollar General.

Distribution of the toys will be held at Lamb County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, December 21st, Wednesday December 22nd, and Thursday, December 23rd from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
