In Loving Memory Of Dianne Jones

Dianne Jones of Lubbock, formerly of Amherst and Levelland, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2021. She was born August 24, 1966 in Amherst, TX to William Earl Jones and the late Faye Leora Geanes Jones.

She met the love of her life, Jerry Daniels, in 1996 in Levelland, TX and eventually moved to Lubbock, TX.

Over the years, Dianne had worked various jobs. She landed her final job of several years at Wal-Mart. Dianne was known to bring smiles and laughter to those who worked with her or knew her as family or friend.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jerry of Lubbock, TX; two sons, Desmund (Jazmin) of Porterville, CA and Seton (Shelley) of Lubbock, TX; four brothers, Kenneth (Linda) of San Angelo, TX, Calvin of Amarillo, TX, Benny (Ruthie) of Clovis, NM and Curtis of Lubbock, TX; six sisters, Joyce and Michelle, both of Lubbock, TX, Betty Ann (Darrell) and Debra both of Littlefield, TX, Christina (Adam) and Natalie (Chris) both of Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren; three aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family-like friends.

Dianne joins her mother, Faye Jones; grandparents, George and Gertrude Geanes; aunts, Georgia Finger and Edith Adams; uncle, Bobby Geanes; two nephews, Byron Logan and Bryson Jones; great-nephew, Malik Daniels; honorary brother, Freddy Buckingham; honorary nephew, Kirvyn Alexander; and a brother and sister.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at McCarty Funeral Home in Littlefield, TX. Her Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Amherst, TX.
