Lamb Healthcare Center will be hosting their annual photos with Santa this year. Due to COVID-19 the event was canceled last year.

Several discussions were held about whether to host it or not and where to host it, so that distancing each group and also staying safe and healthy for the holidays.

This year the event will be called “Cookies from Santa” and will be held at the hospital on Thursday, Dec. 2nd , from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Anyone who would like to come for their picture with Santa, will enter through the front doors of the hospital, pay for the photo(s) at the table and then wait in a designated area.

Photos will be $5 each. Masks will be required for everyone over the age of 3-years old to enter the hospital. Masks may be removed while taking the picture with Santa. Santa will be waiting in the dining room this year instead of the atrium.

Halls will be blocked off so that children can not go down the sick hallways. Everyone needs to stay in their own groups.

After the child(ren) have seen Santa and had their picture taken, they will need to wait outside or in a vehicle to receive their photo. A team member from the hospital will call or text when the photo(s) are ready to pick up. Photos can also be picked up the following day.

Each child will get to tell Santa what they want for Christmas, and Santa will have a bag with cookies for them to take.

“We hope to see a lot of children this year since we missed them last year,” the LHC team said.
