I want to serve the citizens of Lamb County with INTEGRITY and encourage TEAMWORK within all departments within the County. I believe my experience as an educator, paramedic and Department of State Health Services Investigator gives me the experience to manage the records of the people of Lamb County as well as the Commissioners Court. Being the Lamb County Clerk will give me the opportunity to continue to serve and make a difference.

King further stated that she has been approached by people from every community in Lamb County, who have said they we are in desperate need of a person who will work with the other departments within County Government.

We are constantly seeing changes in the way County Government does business. We have already seen this in the Healthcare field and there will be other changes coming in the future for Lamb County. We MUST work together as a Team to deliver all the services required by not only our citizens but also the State Constitution in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We must have County Officials who are willing to go to whatever lengths to make sure they are providing the services Lamb County Citizens deserve. We must work as a team in every department within County Government to achieve success. All County Officials MUST stay up to date on all new requirements and it is paramount that their staff be trained as well.
