John Roley’s AutoCenter in Littlefield’s annual “Stuff the Silverado” Toy Drive is going on now through December 9th .

“Stuff the Silverado” has been going on for over 10 years.

“It is a great opportunity for some of the less fortunate individuals in this area – I know times have been very, very tough because of COVID, number one, and two just everything that is going on in society right now,” General Manager Pat Sullivan said. “There are a lot of kids who won’t have a merry Christmas and this is a great opportunity for people to help out and do something for them and brighten their day. We want to put a smile on every kids face.”

Sullivan talked about the great amount of support they get from the community during this event, saying, “It is great to see the community support. We have several customers that will bring two and three bags full of toys. The nice thing is that the parents are passing it on to their kids and making them bring gifts. That has been the joy, watching community people come in and donate. It’s a great opportunity.”

He added, “To be able to help so many kids, it just brings a lot of joy to the kids and that is what this season is all about.”

Toys can be dropped off between now and Dec. 9 th . John Roley’s AutoCenter in Littlefield is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
