LAMB COUNTY COURT Waivers of Jury Trials

On Oct. 15, 2021, Ryan Sturgeon entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causing Bodily Injury of a Family Member, that occurred on June 29, 2021.

In exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea, the state recommends that the defendant be assessed punishment, fines, cost, restitution and findings as herein indicated.

Found to be guilty by the court, he was sentenced to 90 days in the Lamb County Jail. He must also pay $547 for court costs.

On Oct. 13, 2021, Matthew Nestro Hernandez entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causing Bodily Injury of a Family Member, the occurred on Feb. 19, 2021.

In exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea, the state recommends that the defendant be assessed punishment, fines, cost, restitution and findings as herein indicated.

Motion to Dismiss

On Oct. 6, 2021, the Lamb County Court heart the motion of the County/District Attorney to dismiss the above styled and numbered cause on the grounds that the defendant has entered a Pre-Trial Agreement.

Appearing that the motion should be granted, the court ordered, adjudged, and decreed by the court that the above styled and numbered cause be dismissed, and that the defendant, Caleb Childers be discharged.

Revoke Community Supervision

Community Supervision was revoked for Anthony G. Fabila in Judge Mike DeLoach’s Lamb County Court. The defendant was fined in the amount of $694, ordered to pay costs of court, as assessed by the Lamb County Clerk, and sentenced to 30 days in the Lamb County Jail.

The defendant respectfully requests that the court allow him to be released from custody in order to pay his fine and court costs, as set out, with the understanding that he agrees to pay said amounts in full on or before Nov. 15, 2021. If the amount agreed to is not paid by the defendant, he will have to serve jail time until the fine and court costs are accounted for by jail time.

Community Supervision was revoked for Petra Moreno in Judge Mike DeLoach’s Lamb County Court. The defendant was fined in the amount of $602, ordered to pay costs of court, as assessed by the Lamb County Clerk.

The defendant respectfully requests that the court allow her to be released from custody in order to pay her fine and court costs, as set out, with the understanding that she agrees to pay said amounts at the rate of $50 per month beginning on Oct. 27, 2021. If the amount agreed to is not paid by the defendant, he will have to serve jail time until the fine and court costs are accounted for by jail time.
