Guadalupe (Tito) Duran,56 of Lubbock formerly of Littlefield, died on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 in Lubbock after a long illness. Rosary was recited Thursday evening, Sept. 21 and mass was celebrated Friday morning, Sept. 22, 2017 both at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Littlefield with Father Brian Wood officiating. Guadalupe was born in Robstown, TX on April 12, 1961 to David and Erlinda Duran. He grew up in Earth and attended schools at Springlake-Earth. He played football for the Wolverines. He graduated in May 1980. He worked for LP&L in Lubbock for over 30 years. He loved to barbecue and spending time with family. He attended mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Lubbock. He is survived by his daughters Crystal Vargas of Lubbock and Alyssa Guerra of Midland and his grandchildren Allyson, Isabella and Ian. Seven brothers Martin, Samuel and Eusebio Duran of Littlefield, David Duran of Lubbock, Gerardo Duran of Plainview and Alfredo and Manuel Duran of Dallas. Five sisters Hilaria Toscano of Earth, Maria Duran and Jesusa Garcia of Littlefield, Josefina Sanchez of Hale Center and Francisca Garza of Idalou. Preceding him in death were his parents; and grandparents Eusebio and Francisca Reyes.
