Olton Masons give 50 and 70 years pins

Olton Masonic Lodge recently recognized two of its members for many years of membership in the fraternity.

On Sept. 16, 2021, Robert Dennis was presented a 70-year pin. The pin was presented by James Bass, Master of the Lodge, and J.O. Bass, representing the Grand Lodge of Texas.

Robert received his Master Mason’s degree in 1951 and has held every office in the lodge, including one term as District Deputy Grand Master, a state office for the Grand Lodge of Texas.

Elmer Lewis was presented a 50-year pin at the lodge’s August meeting. He was made a Master Mason in 1971 and has held every office in the lodge, including two terms as District Deputy Grand Master.
