It is with deep sadness that the family of Juan Ramirez Jr., 67, of Anton, Texas, announces his passing on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. He was bom on November 11, 1958, m Littlefield, Texas to Juan Ramon Ramirez, Sr. and Margarita ‘Margie’ DeLeon Ramirez.

Juan Ramirez was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. A hardworking fanner, Juan devoted his life to providing for his family and showed them the meaning of dedication, strength, and perseverance. Juan was an easygoing and friendly man who always made time for others. He loved attending family gatherings, visiting with loved ones, and socializing with friends. He never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcome.

Some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, sharing stories, laughter, and a good meal. He especially enjoyed eating at Golden Corral, a simple pleasure that became a cherished memory for those closest to him. Juan’s hardworking spirit, kind heart, and love for his family will never be forgotten. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the lessons, laughter, and love he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Those left to cherish his memory are his five loving children, Juan Ramirez and wife, Erica of Littlefield, Texas, Christina Hinojosa of Anton, Texas, Melisa Castillo and spouse, Paul of Anton, Texas, Alicia Hinojosa and spouse, Manuel of Anton, Texas, and Maria Garcia of Lubbock, Texas; mother of his children, Sylvia Hinojosa of Lubbock, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Joe Luis Ramirez, Sr., Jesus Ramirez, Thomas Ramirez, and Simon Ramirez, Sr.; five sisters, Lupe Marquez, Sylvia Martinez, Beatrice Ramirez, Anita Jordan, and Carmen Ramirez; and nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Juan is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Estella Esteban; parents, Juan and Margarita Ramirez; son, Janies Ramirez; two grandsons, Jonathan Hinojosa and Zachary Omelas; brother, Simon Ramirez, Jr.; son-in-law, Justin Garcia; and brother-in-law, Bobby Jordan.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning, September 10,2026, at Trinity Church with Pastor Billy Montes officiating. A memorial scrvicc was held Wednesday evening, September 9, 2026, at Grace Chapel officiated by Pastor Joe Ramirez, Jr. Serving as pallbearers were Burt Champion, Paul Castillo, Justin Garcia, Chris Trevino, Gilbert James Hinojosa III, Juan Ramirez IV, Manuel Hinojosa, and Michael Hinojosa.

Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
