Springlake-Earth and Littlefield ISDs announce registration dates

Springlake-Earth ISD and Littlefield ISD have announced registration information for the upcoming school year, with both districts outlining schedules and required documents ahead of the first day of school.

Although both districts are preparing for student registration, each will follow a different process.

Springlake-Earth ISD will hold registration over two days in early August. Returning students with last names beginning A through I will register Aug. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m., while returning students with last names beginning J through Z will register later that day from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Registration for new students will be held Aug. 4 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Returning families can begin completing registration paperwork through the Parent Portal beginning July 29.

Parents registering a new student should bring a birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card, and proof of residency. The district is also reminding families that parents must attend registration with their children.

Springlake-Earth ISD also noted that students who previously attended the district’s Pre- K program should report to the returning student registration section. High school Ag students will also be required to pay a $25 fee.

Littlefield ISD will use a two-step registration process.

Beginning July 25, parents can log into the Parent Portal to complete the first step online. The second step will take place on July 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Primary Campus. Families new to the district will register at the Primary Library.

To register, new students will need to bring an original birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization records, and proof of residency. Parents or guardians will also need to bring custody paperwork and documentation for diagnosed disabilities, if applicable.

Students enrolling in Pre-K or Head Start will need to provide additional documentation, including proof of income. The district also noted that missing paperwork could delay enrollment.

Secondary students in grades 6 through 12 will receive their class schedules during registration and will have an opportunity to speak with school counselors.

In addition to registration, Littlefield High School’s senior picture day for the Class of 2027 will be held on July 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the High School Commons. Seniors will take tux-anddrape portraits during the event.

Families in both districts are encouraged to complete any available online paperwork before attending registration and bring all required documents to help the process run smoothly.
