With the excitement of graduation imminent, Littlefield High School seniors gathered in the gym for the annual scholarship ceremony on May 19, 2026.
This year, the class of 2026 received approximately $176,000 in scholarships.
The first to receive scholarships were Iris Hernandez and Nathan Castaneda, who received a $ 500 scholarship from Littlefield EMS.
Tyson Carr received various scholarships: a $1,000 scholarship, Capital Farm Credit; a $3,000 scholarship, Windmill Scholarship; a $ 2,000 scholarship, Wellington State Bank; and a $1,250 scholarship, SPC Founders Challenge Scholarship.
Bryndle Ray received various scholarships: a $ 5,000 scholarship, the Communities Foundation of Texas Jack Ford Shelby; a $1,000 scholarship, Jerry Blakely Memorial Scholarship; a $500 scholarship, Littlefield Ex-Students Association; and a $10,000 scholarship, Nelson University.
Nathan Castaneda received various scholarships: a $1,000 scholarship, the Communities Foundation of Texas Wildcat Athletic Scholarship; a $1,000 scholarship, Texas Tech Chapter of the National Football Foundation’s Scholar; and a $1,575 scholarship, SPC CM Cora Sanders Memorial Scholarship.
Addesyn Garcia received various scholarships: a $2,000 scholarship, Hispanic Association of Women; a $500 scholarship, Savannah’s Restaurant and Mi Favorita Panderia; and the Danny Adam Marquez Memorial fund.
Brittani Wright and Jordan Randle received a $400 scholarship from the Dunbar LHS Ex-Student Association.
Addesyn Garcia and Bryndle Ray received a $1,000 scholarship from the Early Risers Lions Club.
Nathan Castaneda, Yazmin Longoria, Zamya Darnell and Bryndle Ray received a $1,000 scholarship from First Federal Bank.
Tate Clark and Raylee Morrow received a $1,000 scholarship from the Food King and Lowe’s Scholarship.
Jose Payan, Kealee Bussey, Makinzi Tyler, Sophie Garcia, Caleb Shea, Bryndle Ray, Ally Dalton, Madison Contreras, Addesyn Garcia, Zamaya Darnell, Yazmin Longoria and Matthew Rios received a $250 scholarship from Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Nathan Rodriguez and Ally Dalton received a $1,000 scholarship from Hochheim Prairie Insurance.
Joselyn Davis received a $ 300 from the Iota Eta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Makinzi Tyler received various scholarships: a $300 scholarship, Lamb Co. Soil and Water Conservation District; a $500 scholarship, Littlefield Elementary; and a $2,000 scholarship, John L. and Vergie Belle Smallwood.
Jordan Randle and Ally Dalton received a $750 scholarship from Lamb Healthcare Center, LHS Auxiliary and LHC Family Medicine.
Kealee Bussey received a scholarship from the Lamb County Electrical CoOp.
Angela Delgado received a $500 scholarship from the Lewis Willey Scholarship.
Caleb Shea and Noah Castaneda received a $500 scholarship from the Littlefield Arts and Heritage.
Madden Tenorio, Jordan Randle and Kamila Silveira received a $1,000 scholarship from the Littlefield Class of 1984.
Iris Hernandez received a $500 scholarship from the Littlefield Classroom Teachers Association.
Nathan Rodriguez received a $750 scholarship from Littlefield ISD Credit Union.
Kealee Bussey and Bryndle Ray received a $1,000 from the Littlefield Masonic Lodge. Mia Rodriguez, Nathan Rodriguez, Matthew Rios, Caleb Caudillo and Jordan Randle received scholarships from the LHS Band Boosters. Matthew Rios received a $200 scholarship from the LHS TAFE Club.
Kevin Nachak and Nathan Rodriguez received a $500 scholarship from the Malachi Frausto Memorial.
Bryndle Ray and Iris Hernandez received a $1,000 scholarship from the Mr. Wildcat Tommy Cloninger Memorial.
Zamya Darnell received a $1,250 scholarship from the Patsy Lively Brittain Scholarship.
Sophie Garcia received a $3,000 scholarship from the Speck and Steven Paul Franklin Memorial.
Tyson Carr and Bryndle Ray received a $2,000 scholarship from the MTC Bionic Youth.
Jose Payan received a $1,250 scholarship from the SPC Founders Challenge Scholarship.
Kamila Silveira received a $1,325 scholarship from the SPC John and Auvena Morton Memorial.
Concluding the ceremony, Caleb Caudillo and Bryndle Ray received the valedictorian and salutatorian scholarships from South Plains College.
