In Loving Memory Of Robert 'El Mosco' Pedroza

Robert "El Mosco" Pedroza, known to many as a kind, loving, and always smiling man, passed away on March 28, 2026. He was born on April 3, 1969, in Ventura, California, and later made his home in Littlefield, Texas.

Mosco was a hardworking man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved to dance no matter the music, if it was playing, he was moving. He also enjoyed playing dominoes, sharing laughter, stories, and a little friendly competition with family and friends. He had a way of bringing light into any room, and his sense of humor and easygoing nature made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.

More than anything, Mosco loved his family. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, who meant the world to him. Whether he was joking around, dancing, playing dominoes, or simply spending time together, those were the moments he held closest. He married Gloria on June 15, 1990 He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Pedroza; his children, Joshua Robert Pedroza and fiance, Jeanette Garcia of Littlefield, Texas, and Linda Ojeda and her husband, Marco Ojeda of Hobbs, New Mexico; and his niece, Analydia of Littlefield, Texas, whom he raised as his own.

He is also survived by his father, Junior Pedroza of Victoria, Texas; his sisters, Leah Mullinex, Lupita Pedroza, Cynthia Flores, Dolores Pedroza, and Laura Esquibel; his brothers, Gilbert Pedroza, Daniel Pedroza, Tony Pedroza, Martin Pedroza, Joe Ray Pedroza, and Michael Pedroza; as well as many nieces and nephews, including Aiden and Anthony Mullinex.

He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Joshua Jr. and Josiah Pedroza of Littlefield, Texas; and Xander, Xavi, and Xitlalii Ojeda of Hobbs, New Mexico, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Esquibel, who raised him; his mother, Gloria Gandolfo; and his father, John Esquibel, who also helped raise him.

Robert "El Mosco" Pedroza will be remembered for his big heart, his love for his family, and the joy he brought to those around him. If you knew him, you likely heard him say "my favorite" a simple phrase that became part of who he was and how he showed his love.

Forever our favorite. Graveside services will be held in Littlefield Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
