Students to Preform at County Wide Christmas Celebration Friday

The Lamb County Christmas Celebrations kicked off with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony held in the Lamb County Courthouse Garden in downtown Littlefield on Monday December 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm.

On Friday, December 12, 2025 the Lamb County Advisory Board will present “ A Classic Christmas Bash” in downtown Littlefield. All Lamb County communities are encouraged to participate. There will be food trucks, vendors, entertainment, ”a Christmas Movie at the Pocket Park and more. Volunteers are welcome and needed fort he Pocket Park event. Those attending the movie are encouraged to bring along lawn chairs and come prepared for cold weather.

The festivities will kick off with the Christmas Parade beginning at 6:00 pm. Friday, December 12, 2025. The Littlefield, Sudan, and Springlake-Earth bands are scheduled to perform.

There will also be a live coverage one way stream on the Lamb County Library Facebook page.

Following the parade the Lamb County Library Library will have an Open House.

Cookies and Hot Cocoa will be served. Cookie donations are welcomed. Guests may sign up free in a drawing for prizes. Mr. and Mrs. Santa will also attend. There will be games and ornament crafts.

The event is free to the public.

Here is a schedule of the student performances:

Fourth grade performance, 7 p.m.; fifth grade performance, 7:15 p.m.; Littlefield Drumline, 7:30 p.m.; Brandy and Jordan, 7:45 p.m.; Trevor Jennings, 8 p.m.; Sarah Franco, 8:15 p.m.; Tony Guitierrez, 8:30 p.m.; Christmas Karaoke, 8:45- End of Night.

The event will be emceed by DJ Jimmy Garcia.

Elementary Children Drop-Off will be underneath the BLUE Canopy, Elementary Children Pick-Up will be underneath the GREY canopy.
