Leslie Gail Kloiber

In Loving Memory Of

Oct. 7, 1950 ~ Nov. 13, 2025

Leslie Gail Kloiber, 75, of Littlefield, Texas, passed away surrounded by family on November 13, 2025. She was born on October 7, 1950, to Les Lichte and Dottie Lou Lichte.

Gail lived a life centered on love, faith, and service to others. Her love language was cooking, and she expressed her care through countless home cooked meals shared around kitchen tables and stock show barns. Known for feeding entire teams and families with ease, she never let anyone leave hungry. Her strawberry brownies, in particular, became a beloved tradition at every stock show event along with her cinnamon suckers for volleyball and basketball games.

She and her husband, Kim Kloiber, were happily married for 54 years, setting an enduring example of what a Godly marriage looks like - grounded in patience, devotion, and shared joy. Together, they built a family rooted in faith and hard work, always opening their home and hearts to others.

Gail was "MawMaw" to everyone, not just her own grandchildren. She had a gift for making people feel seen and cared for. Whether she was cooking for her grandchildren's sports or FFA teams, or just simply checking in on a friend, Gail lived her life with intention and compassion. Some of her favorite memories were made on RV trips to the mountains with her friends, visits to Fredericksburg with her daughters, taking meals to the farming crew during harvest season, countless Sonic drink trips, and peaceful days at the lake - her true happy place. She loved watching her loved one's ski and fish from the dock and, of course, cooking enough food to feed an army for her family.

Gail always dressed to impress. She had an impressive collection of shoes and jewelry and believed there was no such thing as being overdressed. She loved any excuse for a new outfit and passed down her love of fashion to her daughters and granddaughters. She even owned a children's clothing store with her mother, Children's Nook, in Littlefield.

Gail leaves behind a legacy of love, hospitality, and faith. She had a smile and laugh that lit up every room, and though we are blessed to hold onto sacred memories and her cherished handwritten recipes, those who knew Gail will forever feel the missing piece left by her absence.

She is survived by her husband, Kim; daughters, Kelli and husband, Kevin, and Erin and husband, Brandon; and grandchildren, Kennadi Wheeless, Britton and Braelyn Pointer; and many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends who adored her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Les and Dottie Lou Lichte; brothers, Kenan and Gary Lichte; and sister-inlaw, Sara Lichte.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Littlefield, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be forwarded to Gail's 4-H Scholarship Fund set up at Prosperity Bank in Littlefield. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
