Reality of our society (that is secular) The reality is that society is basically drifting along like zombies, they go to a dead-end job everyday, groaning in the morning that they have to work; they muster up their strength to go to work. They try to beat the rush hour as much as they can, they think that $$$$ is the key to a successful life and that is the main purpose, plus drugs and alcohol, anything that can fill the void. They don’t believe in any God, they believe that science has the answer, that this universe since it is governed by natural laws meaning nothing supernatural can exist; they believe the story of the bible to be all but a good epic, but it is not true. There is no evidence to believe in anything, however they long for hope that there is life after death, although most people believe they only have this one life and that is it; they really don’t care because life is pointless, there is no lasting purpose of human existence, and nothing is okay.
The reality is that this is not the case, because if one were to look at creation, the beauty in the air, the great landscapes, and different cities, every city is different, every house is different, everything is different every single day. The reality of creation means that someone created it, that it didn’t come from nothing, so we are more than nothing. The fact that there is a purpose to this life, and the fact that crimes are tried in the courts, means there is justice; that means everyone has a soul, there are more than just a mere physical body. That gives us hope that a part of us lives on even after our physical body dies. That is the hope the fact that Jesus was resurrected means that we all will be resurrected one day, and will have a body that never dies or feels pain or gets sick. People including scientists + atheists believe solely in the scientific method to solve life’s biggest problems, but science is not the b-all, end all. It has major limitations, but people cannot see that because they are arrogant; the bible even says that fools reject there is a god, while the wise admit there is a god. Nothing is accidental, everything is done for a purpose even if that purpose makes no sense, so trust in what you believe and have faith.
Even when you cannot see the unseen realm, you know that there is hope beyond this life. We all understand that some of us didnt get the job we wanted or the $$$$ we desired, we see everyone else getting ahead, while we struggle. The reality is that even when people are getting everything they want and evil is rampant, we know that there will come a time in the future that Christ will return and rid this world of evil, everything will be made new; a new heaven and earth that believers will enjoy forever with christ in a youthful resurrected body. In the meantime, it is to despite the pain, continue to strive for doing better each day, and cherising the good moments of life, not the bad.
