Fernando “ Ferman” Trevino, 73, of Littlefield, TX, passed away on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. He was born on Feb. 26, 1952, in Ralls, TX to Jose and Andrea Trevino.
In his younger years, Fernando served in the United States Army. For most of his life, Franando worked construction pouring concrete. He also liked football and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders and John Wayne movies. He was a sharp dresser and was remembered as a true cowboy in his starched jeans, cowboy hat, and western boots. Fernando had faith and was Catholic.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons; five brothers; three sisters; and seven grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister.
Funeral Mass for Fernando was held Friday morning, Sept. 19, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield, with Father Jeff Church officiating. Rosary was recited Thursday evening, Sept. 18, 2025, at Grace Chapel in the funeral home. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
