The Anton Cemetery Association is sponsoring a fundraiser lunch on Sunday, April 27 at the Lawrence Avenue Church of Christ Activity Center, 401 Lawrence St, from 11 a.m. until supplies runs out.
Attendees may purchase $10 dollar plates including a hamburger, chips and drink, but higher donations are accepted.
Additionally, the event will include a silent dessert auction.
Anton’s Cemetery Association said funds raised from the event assist with the upkeep and preservation of the cemetery in a shared statement: “All funds raised will help us continue to have a cemetery that the Anton Community and all extended families will continue to be proud of. The Anton Cemetery Association is a voluntary, nongovernment supported organization. The upkeep of the grounds is a continuous process, which can only be accomplished with contributions, memorial gifts, and your support.”
