Danny Collins, 74, of Olton, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, in his home. Graveside services were held Tuesday morning, April 8, 2025, at Olton Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Danny was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Amherst, TX, to Royce and Mary (Newton) Collins. He married Quenette Redinger on Aug. 14, 1971, in Olton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a rancher. He served on the West Texas - New Mexico Paint Horse Association Board for six years and the Lamb County and Olton Junior Livestock Board for 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Danny is survived by his wife; a daughter; a son; two grandsons; and a sister.
