Janice Rae Sebring, 87, of Littlefield, TX, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, in Midland, TX. She was born Jan. 17, 1937, in Winters, TX to Raymond and Eula Mae Cantrell. She married Ray Sebring on May 6, 1960, in Hobbs, NM.
Janice was the Treasurer for the City of Littlefield and worked as a finance manager for the Chrysler, Ford and GMC dealership. She was a talented crafter who enjoyed sewing, painting, quilting, embroidering and shopping. She was voted “Woman of the Year” in the mid-seventies by the Littlefield Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Crescent Park Church of Christ, Red Hats Society and Sorority.
Janice is survived by a son; two daughters; a sister; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother; a sister; and her parents..
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 2, 2024, at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, TX. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Littlefield Fire Department (P.O. Box 1267, Littlefield, Texas 79339). Service arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
