Jimmie Dale Fulenwider, 81, of Springlake, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at his home in Springlake, TX. Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, in Springlake, with Brother Rob Norris officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Jimmie was born Dec. 1, 1942, at home, in Earth, TX, to Joe and Pat (Hawkins) Fulenwider. He married Ruby Cantrell on Oct. 19, 1959. Jimmie was a lifetime Springlake area resident and member of the First Baptist Church in Springlake. He worked at Earth Oil and Gas for over 30 years and was the owner/operator of J&J Tires in Springlake for many years. Jimmie worked hard for people all over Lamb County until he retired. He loved watching old westerns and enjoyed visiting with friends and family.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a daughter.
Survivors include his son; a daughter; a brother; a sister; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be made to one’s favorite charity.
