Marie Perez, 57, of Littlefield, TX, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, in Littlefield. She was born March 16, 1967, in Laredo, TX to Jose and Romona Medellin. She married Roger Perez Sept. 3, 1987, in Littlefield.
Marie worked for Littlefield Independent School District as the Librarian for Littlefield Elementary School for 28 years before she retired in May 2024. She loved to read. She found joy in being a librarian. She enjoyed shopping trips, and going to the movies. She enjoyed pizza and enchiladas and making her infamous thumbprint cookies.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter; a grandson; a brother; four sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday afternoon, July 3, 2024, at Grace Chapel in Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
