Ramirez, explained, “I was inspired to go back to Turkana because I had previously been and fell in love with the country and the people. When I was presented with the opportunity to return and continue to carry the gospel to reached and unreached villages while supporting the full time missionaries on the ground, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.”
Mitchell added, “I’ve felt like I was called to Africa since I was seven-years old, so when I was given the opportunity, I prayed about it and felt like God was opening the door for me to finally chase my calling to spread the gospel in Africa.”
