Funeral services for Amanda Reyes Guereque, age 38, of Littlefield, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Trinity Church in Littlefield with Pastor Billy Montes officiating and Jose Flores, singing. Interment will follow in Littlefield Cemetery. Visitation and reflections of Life will be held at 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jaden McCoy, Chase McCoy, Tyler Gallegos, Curtis Gallegos, Joseph Salinas, and Greg Cruz. Arrangements are under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland.
Amanda passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Boerne, Texas. She was born on November, 27, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas to Johnny and Lupe Rangel Cruz.
Amanda finished her high school education. She worked as a customer service representative for several years at Stripes Convenience Stores in Littlefield and also a cashier at Lowe's in Lago Vista, Texas. She enjoyed working on cars, reading her bible, listening to Christian rap music, and watching Super Natural on Television. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending quality time with her sons and all of her family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Lupe Rangel Cruz and a brother, Anthony (Tony) Cruz.
Amanda is survived by four sons, Jaden McCoy of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Chase McCoy of Lago Vista, Texas, Tyler Gallegos and Curtis Gallegos both of Littlefield, Texas; her father, Johnny Cruz of Littlefield; three sisters, Rachel Cruz and Laura Cruz both of Littlefield and Alice Cruz of Lago Vista, Texas; two brothers, Lee Reyes of Anton and Greg Cruz of Cibolo, Texas; and a host of nephews and nieces.
