Kelli Denise Wright, 56, of Anton, TX, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Lubbock. She was born in Littlefield, TX on August 21, 1967 to J.D. and Sybil Wright.
Kelli enjoyed traveling. She was a talented cross stitcher. Kelli enjoyed watching rodeo and bull riding events, and was the President of the Michael Gaffney Bull riding fan club. Kelli’s passion for the sport led her to engage in research work for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).
She was a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She was a devoted fan of the Longhorns. She also found joy in ice hockey, and watching baseball.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, January 24, 2024 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, Texas. Interment followed in Anton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
