The greatest blessing of all

By Loren Zell, Pastor,

November is the month when American’s typically prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. Part of the reason is that families usually look forward to celebrating together. Thanksgiving is typically a time when many will reflect on the blessings they have in life. Some of these folks will even take time to give the credit for those blessings to Almighty God. This is certainly right and good, for indeed, in spite of our problems, citizens of our country have many blessings to give thanks for that other people in other countries do not have. Things like medical care, abundant food, safe neighborhoods, heat and air conditioning, readily available fast and efficient transportation are just some of the many blessings from God that most people in our country enjoy.
