Co. Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2025, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 10—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

Lfd. School Board sets Special Meeting

The Littlefield Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in Special Session on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administration Building.

2025 Community Revival set for August 20st-22nd

A 2025 Community Revival will be held on August 20th to the 22nd at New Hope Baptist Church in Amherst, located at 300 Jefferson Sreet.The sponsor churches are Irvin Street First Baptist Church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, St. John Baptist Church, Peace Deliverance and Macedonia Baptist Church.

Lady Cats notch first win of Cunningham era

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team hosted the Wellman-Union Lady Cats for their first match of the season as part of a dual.The Lady Cats took the match, 2-1, to improve to 1-0 overall on the year.

Littlefield ISD Board of Trustees hold regular meeting

The Littlefield Independent School District Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on Monday, August 11th in the Board Room of the Jerry Blakely Administration Building.The meeting was called to order by Board President Reese Rogers and the invocation was given by Will Williams.
