The Commissioner’s Court of Lamb County held a special meeting on Friday, July 28th, at the Lamb County Courthouse to discuss Lamb Healthcare operations. The meeting was called to order at 9 a.m.

The new Grand Jury was selected on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, where there were 23 cases indicted, 15 of which have not been arrested at this time. The Grand Jury, for the County of Lamb, State of Texas, duly selected, empaneled, sworn, charged, and organized as such at the July Term A.D.

The Deputy Secretary of State Joe Esparza drew the ballot order for the 14 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. Texans will vote on these amendments as a part of the November 7 Election.

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County met in regular session on Monday, August 7th in the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield to discuss a 12-item agenda. Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order at 9.m.

The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to once again be able to provide free school supplies to the students in Littlefield. Last year, they had overwhelming support to provide for our local students, and they wanted to do the same event again this year.
