County-Wide Christmas Celebration set for December 12th in Littlefield

The Lamb County Christmas Celebrations kicked off with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony held in the Lamb County Courthouse Garden in downtown Littlefield on Monday Dec. 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm.

Hornets rally past Shallowater’s JV, 42-39

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team began play Thursday morning at the Way Out West Tournament in Whiteface, as they took down Shallowater’s JV squad, 42-39.

Texas homeschool numbers rising

As public schools struggle with accountability ratings, homeschool numbers have been rising in Texas with an estimated 750,000 students, or about 5.95% to 6.28% of K-12 students, based on U.S. Census data for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years – more than private and charter students.
