Commissioners hold reguar meeting Dec. 22

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County held their regular meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 22nd in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 7— item agenda was considered for appropriate action.The meeting was called to order at 10 a.m.

LHC, LHC Family Medicine, ORH and LSC announce holiday hours

Lamb Healthcare Center, LHC Family Medicine, Olton Rural Health and Lamb Sleep Center announce their holiday hours.Lamb Healthcare Center front office and admin will close at noon on December 31st (New Year’s Eve) and they will be closed all day on January 1st (New Year’s Day).

Lfd. EMS to sponsor Basic EMT Course

Littlefield EMS will be sponsoring an EMT Basic course Jan. 2, 2026 through June 10, 2026. This will be State and National EMS certification.Classes will be Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m./ two Saturday classes.

Texas Adds Jobs as Labor Force Grows by 21,700

AUSTIN - Texas had a total of 14,343,800 nonfarm jobs after adding 4,600 positions in September. Over the year, the state added 168,000 jobs for an annual nonfarm growth rate of 1.2 percent, outpacing the national growth rate by 0.4 percentage points.
Monday December 15th, Littlefield FFA’s Tractor Tech team traveled to Stanton to compete. They came out of it feeling that it was their best one yet. They placed sixth place out of 21 State wide teams, and second out of Area 1 teams. Out of 65 individuals Manny Garcia placed 13th, JJ placed 14th, Jayden Kirkland placed 27th. Their Area 1 state Qualifier is January 23 at WT in Canyon. (Shown): Manny Garcia, JJ Gonzales and Jayden Kirkland.
