Soil and Water Conserviation District now accepting seedling orders

Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District is now accepting seedling orders (container and D-40 species) for Spring 2026. Please feel free to stop by the office at 2431 S. Farwell Ave., Littlefield, TX 79339 to pick up our Seedling Species List, Seedling Planting Guide and Seedling Order Form.

Happy New Year everyone!We are very blessed to be entering into a new year and, while I know some circumstances are different than others, we have much to be grateful for. It’s a new year with new beginnings, and I hope that everyone who reads this sees the good by the time I’m done.

SWCD Taking Orders for Windbreak Trees

The Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation is currently taking orders for the Spring Windbreak Tree Fundraiser and other plants sales.There is a variety of trees and other plants available.

Wildcats hold off Idalou, 49-42

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team held off the Idalou Wildcats on the road on Friday, 49-42, in their first meeting of district play.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 4-2 in district play.
