More than 372 miles of state roadways are scheduled for preventative maintenance work during the month of June. The roads are part of the Lubbock District’s 2021 sealcoat program.

A residence at 128 East 23rd Street in Littlefield, was heavily damaged in a fire that began just before midnight Sunday, May 30, and early Monday, May 31, 2021. WASHINGTON, June 1, 2021 – Agricultural producers who have coverage under most crop insurance policies are eligible for a premium benefit from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) if they planted cover crops during this crop year. The Pandemic Cover Crop Program (PCCP), offered by USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA), helps farmers maintain their cover crop systems, despite the financial challenges posed by the pandemic.
