Anton Cemetery Association to host hamburger fundraiser

The Anton Cemetery Association is hosting a hamburger lunch fundraiser on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lawrence Avenue Church of Christ Activity Center, 401 Lawrence Ave.All proceeds will fund the maintenance and upkeep of the Anton cemetery.

Sudan One-Act Play advances to regional competition

In a third consecutive win for Sudan One-Act Play members, the team qualified for the regional competition happening on April 25. This achievement places Sudan in the top 24 teams in the state.“Wow, did these students step it up,” Jonathan Robertson, the One-Act Play director, said.

Sudan High School earns fourth consecutive UIL District Champion title

On March 26, 2026, 60 Sudan High School students competed in the UIL District Academic competition in Hale Center, collectively earning their fourth consecutive district championship title.In total, students scored 868.7 points, a record-breaking score compared to previous competitions.
