Lady Cats buck Lady Broncos, 69-60, to take Wildcat Classic Championship

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team took down the Clarendon Lady Broncos on Saturday evening, 69-60, to claim the 33rd annual Wildcat Classic Championship.The Lady Cats improve to 12-6 overall on the year.

LISD giving away items before renovations begin at old high school

Littlefield ISD is opening the doors of the old High School before the renovation begins to clear the classrooms. All items will be free to the public.The doors will be open January 10th and 11th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Items available include, but are not limited to, desks, chairs, stools and tables.

Hale County wreck leaves two deceased

On Dec. 28th around 4:58 p.m., a two vehicle collision in Hale County at the intersection of US 70 and FM 179 resulted in two dead.A preliminary investigation revealed that 2022 Chevrolet Pickup was traveling north on FM 179, approaching the stop intersection at US 70.
