Water well measurements still being conducted

The High Plains Water Conservation District reported that the annual water level measurements are still being taken to determine the effects of last year’s pumping from the aquifers in the district.

Cotton exports good last week

Weekly cotton export sales were particularly good last week and occurred when the market was trading 84.50 to 85.50 cents. With current low prices, export sales will be booming the next two weeks.
