Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County met in regular session on Monday, July 21st, at the Lamb County Court House to discuss a seven-item agenda.The meeting was called to order at 9:13 a.m. by Lamb County Judge James DeLoach. There was nobody present for the public comment portion of the meeting.

Annual Celebration in Amherst set for Saturday, July 26th

Amherst’s annual Celebration is kicking off on Saturday, July 26.Participants for the chilli cookoff must arrive at 6 a.m. The turnin cutoff is at 3 p.m.The parade begins at 10 a.m., followed by a tractor pull at noon.A volleyball tournament will take place at 1 p.m.

Lamb County 4-H’ers Shine at District 2 Power Camp

Lamb County 4-H members recently returned from an impactful leadership experience at the District 2 4-H Power Camp, held at the High Plains Retreat Center.
